How do I go about purchasing a Stedone Home?

Before you make any choice on what land you would like to purchase, a Stedone Homes Development Consultant offers you a FREE, no strings attached, comprehensive Development Cost Estimate for the completion of your entire home, including ALL the costs you will need to budget for. Once you have decided on what you can afford, Stedone Homes offers you the choice of either a CUSTOM Design Home, or a COMPLETE Home(subject to availability).

5 easy steps to a hassle free, cost effective home building experience:

Set up an appointment with one of our Development Consultants for an upfront Development Cost Estimate(DCE) for your home.
Sign an appointment letter with Stedone Homes to enable them to appoint an architect to design your home* (custom design homes only)
*A Complete Home has already been designed by an appointed architect for a specific plot on the estate.
Finalise home design, agree final costs and enter into a Home Development Contract with Stedone Homes.
Conclude pre-implementation planning including plan submissions/approvals and finishes selections.
Home construction and handover.

Home Development Contract

This contract incorporates the following:

  • One contract with no need to deal with various Professionals and Subcontractors
  • A Stedone Homes Client Manager is assigned to the client, who liaises with you throughout the build process
  • A detailed finishes handbook is produced for the client by our Interior Design team, which provides graphic detail regarding the various home finishes chosen, including the final budget agreed, which is signed off before construction begins. This alleviates the risk of running over budget.

Free Development Cost Estimate

A key part of the STEDONE HOMES service offering is a FREE UPFRONT DEVELOPMENT COST ESTIMATE. This free service is available to any prospective client, as well as Estate Accredited Architects, who wish to offer their clients a value added service. It is:

  • Done before any plans are drawn up.
  • An open and transparent method for clients to assess the real cost of completing their home.
  • A way of establishing the clients budget upfront and ensuring that all add-ons and finishes are considered before the actual building process starts.

Off Plan Complete Homes

A home that has been designed and priced for a plot, ready to build, including all costs(excluding interest).

Off Plan Custom Designed Home

A home that still needs to be designed for a plot already purchased by a client, based on an upfront Development Cost Estimate and architectural brief, including all costs (excluding interest).

Spec Homes

A home that has been designed, priced and built by Stedone Homes (including interest & financed by Stedone Homes)

Sectional Title Homes

A home that has been designed and priced as part of a Sectional Title Development, ready to build, including all costs (including interest & financed by Stedone Homes)
