Stedone was started in the late 1970's by Gino Steffanutti and Herb Beadon - hence the name Stedone. Gino left after a few years and Herb continued to run the business until his retirement. The company predominately is a civil engineering construction business, but has recently expanded into the development and building fields.
Herb Beadon instilled a valuable ethos in the company, which has been continued by its current members and staff. This is simply to invest in people, treating them fairly and with respect. Stedone has prided itself on the successful relationships with its staff, other professionals and clients and endeavors to leave a favourable and lasting impression. Stedone is a people's company which has also served us well in our relationships with the Labour Union and with BEE emerging businesses.
As all companies are operational within the construction and development industries, there is an enormous benefit when it comes to working together on projects. The focus of our activities is generally within KwaZulu Natal, however we are prepared and do venture into other provinces for attractive projects.
